| Interesting point about Turbo-diesel, Ralf proved that they have the pace when he got pinged a few years back for speeding!! |

No TC, no bi-directional telemetry, back to slicks - that's all what it takes to make it more interesting and separate mice from men... The main thing is that the TC goes... TC increases the curve speed ability of the cars, and reduces the needed efforts by drivers to control the throttle skillfully...
When it comes to engines and aero stuff, that's where the competition should be among the teams... The one who builds the best car without too many electronic aids should benefit from that, and the driver should be the one that makes the difference...
Ever since TC was introduced, curve spins by "bad" drivers have been rather rare even if some still have managed it more often than others...  |

Apparently the aerodynamic downforce of the typical F1 car is such that they can run inverted at 90mph+
What about tracks with a loop-de-loop banking section where the cars have to go upside down? That would really sort out the men from the boys  |
