I'm just curious, since I couldn't go there, but from earlier posts I guess that Spa was one of the circuits that more Pitpass forum members were willing to attend.
How many of you finally were there?
How many managed to meet together? _________________ [slowly trying to return] |

I was there! And I met Tiggers. Where did we meet - well half way down Eau rouge!!! Well - its the only place worth meeting. Things were slightly chaotic after the race and hence our meeting was brief. We lost each other around the podium after catching a quick glimpse of the podium scorers about to do their post race interviews on the room. We watched for a moment and then my friend and I sprinted around to the pits to get our invite in there.
I must say, I have never spent so little time at a race. We went to Amsterdam on Friday, which was wicked! Then we made it to the track just in time for Quali and then got to our seats on Sunday 10 mins before the race started. Sadly, we were delayed on Sunday after I got caught speeding. But if you are going to speed, doing it on the way to an F1 race is the most appropriate situation to do so. All in all, a great weekend. Can't believe that I'm not going to any more races this year The winter is too long. Perhaps I can wangle the odd invite to a launch or maybe settle for some winter testing! We'll see. _________________ Sam |
