Which Australian driver ran in F1 in the late 70's with little success, last driving for BRM?

Thanks for clarifying; I trusted (or assumed) this was understood, that it was a vast respect for the other's driving prowess. But - yes, I can see some who are not too familiar with the men might read it otherwise.

The only Australian driver I can find who drove for BRM in the late 1970's is Larry Perkins, but he entered a Surtees in 3 races in 1977 after driving with BRM. He failed to qualify for two of those.

Does my source need updating???

Hmmm, poorly worded in hindsight.

Reword to last started a GP and it makes sense.

Anyway Karlos......Larry Perkins is spot on. It's all yours.

because of the 107% qulifying rule, Rosset recorded 1:41.416 and Sospiri did a 1:44.286. Jacques Villeneuve in the Williams did 1:28.594, some 13 seconds faster than Rosset and almost 16 seconds over Sospiri. Diniz also went over the 107% but not by so much & he was alowed to race

Cool Cool the first time I´ve answered correctly a trivia question

Thanks Nivola,

OK, 1985 Brazilian GP, Rio.

1) Which 4 teams started the 1985 season unchanged from 1984?

2) Who drove for these teams?

3) Which German lost a drive due to a fall out?

4) Which two drivers had an altercation at the start, leading to one retirement and one poor handling car?
