Hey Rob! This week, if Fisichella finishes nowhere, and someone has him picked high - do they lose a point? _________________ Give me Liberty, or give me food stamps. |

He, as anyone else, only loses a point if, after the race, his fans go very very quiet. |

Did Schumi's fans go quiet 2 weeks ago? Quiet for 8 pages?
edit: Sorry, that's 9 pages... _________________ ...there's another way... |

I hope it's not considered ungentlemanly to make a prediction after Friday practice, although, as we all know, Friday times are as useful as a chocolate teapot....

Big Mac, how many points did you say late entry would cost? |

The Bar Stewards have held an enquiry into the Ringer issue and decided that bets on Sato will stand on Davidson.
An enquiry into the late entry will be held after the race. |

Now I know this is taking a liberty to enter after qualy 1 but I've taken a BAR stance and there is nothing in the regs to say I can't..

Don't worry Sean, the rules have been (will be?) adjusted to allow for this. |

What - are you going to deduct a point from me if Retha does well?
(Naw - I'm not bitter... ) |

So how did we do.
Under the Aussie Rules, only taking the first three, BigMac was the winner with 3 points, well done.
However, it was BigMac who suggested that we select eight places, so the new scoring system is 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 with 2 bonus points for the correct position and 1 point for being within one place.
There were no minus points, although Fisi nearly got one, but he was trying and won in Australia. Rubens nearly had one as well for retiring a healthy car, but who knows if gets to choose his own tyres.
Those who made ony 6 selections were given 5 extra points, the average of everyones' last two picks. The late entries had their scores halved, partly because they had so little faith in Jarno.
28 Carol
27 BigMac
26 gd
25 White Lighting, Rob
24 Schummy
22 garf, Sean
19 Burton, Dajobo, falconer
18.5 RethaF1
17 StuntCar Racer
and
7 Sam
Well done to Carol (again!), BigMac and gd.
garf's list was worth of mention for being close to correct but the wrong way up.
Finally Sam. Well, what can you say except that maybe Michael's and Jenson's poor starts to the season are down to her putting the mockers on them with her fierce loyalty. They might never stand on the Podium again. |
