hi
what do people think about the lack of jacques not racing this race. I think it is a great loss, because he is a great race and he speaks his mind. So in all a great loss, but dont worry he will be back _________________ Alex - im not bitter that JV is not racing this year, but all the other driver are crap!!!!!!! lol |

Well thinking i say that one day we will have all past drivers like Michael - David - Olivier - Jarno ... will be leaving F1 so i guess it began with Mika's left of F1 world then Eddie Irvine and Alesi and then Heinz Harld Frentzen but Jos Verstapen and Jacques V. will be back for racing and i aim that Jaques will be driving in 2005 for Williams ... _________________ Jaguar |

jacques is great driver and he will be missed whilst he is away but myself and many of his fans believe he will be back sooner rather than later.
none of these so called rookies have what it takes there here one season and gone the next we need raw drivers like jacques that have that grit and determination to succeed at any cost.
he will return

I will miss Jacques. Hopefully, he will get another good drive soon AND some new friends/management because I think CP has been bad for Jacques for the last couple of years.
Its good to speak your mind but I think it shouldn't be that hard to do it in a way that doesn't allow your enemies to twist it around and beat you senseless with it. |

F1 is a lesser place without Jacque, and I doubt whether he will make a come back.
I hope so though. |

Good riddance.
I hear that he's arrogant and an utter pain to work with, the guys on the ground at BAR hated him (like that's breaking any new ground anyway). In terms of driving ability he still has it, that magnificent 360-degree spin in Austria last year, when he just kept his right foot buried, was almost Gilles-esque. But ability alone does not make a hero. All of my heroes have been gentlemen off the track, something which Jacques patently is not. I have a lot of time for individuality and free spirit in F1, but his tanty before Suzuka dispelled any remaining doubts I had about JV. In terms of sheer talent alone, he probably still deserves a seat in F1. But I for one have had enough of his childish attitude and there are more than a few drivers I'd like to see racing at JV's expense. He has shown over the past couple of years that he is undermotivated and as a result no team boss will want him. I'll miss his driving, but nothing else about him. |

Anyways,
JV will be back and it might be sooner rather than later. Something tells me there will be some carnage this year in F1 with all the young and inexperienced drivers that have no business behind a wheel in an F1 car. I hope no one gets seriously hurt but one of these kids is bound to make a BIG mistake at some point this year. Even Max Mosley has hinted that F1 has been very lucky in recent years with regard to serious accidents on the track.
If people get injured or hurt, opening may happen! |

hi
the jacques will come back i think in 2005, just to show peolple this is what they lost for 5 years when he was at BAR. He will just go out there to prove people wrong again. DR will go and eat humble pie!!!!!!! _________________ Alex - im not bitter that JV is not racing this year, but all the other driver are crap!!!!!!! lol |

I won't miss JV, not because I don't really like him but because he hasn't been at the sharp end of F1 for the past 5 years so his absense makes no difference to me.
I only care about the sharp end of F1 and so do the TV cameras. JV absence doesn't change the balance of power in F1 or deprive us of great overtaking manoveurves (when was the last time you saw a great JV overtaking move).
The only thing the public will be his out-spoken views but there's really nothing to stop him making them from the sidelines anyway |

I'd have liked to seen JV get another go this year. Without himmost of the drivers personalities are pretty sterile and uptight (just look at the williams guys this week, Monty withot a sense of humour and Ralf landing in Australia all cranky).
But his time is over. The press wants new superstars, which is why Kimi and Alonso have been overhyped and future champions without proving a great deal on the track yet. They will do some great things soon though, and the attention will be a long way away from Jacques. |

In all probability, Williams will have TWO empty seats next year. Hopefully Sir Frank will call JV to fill one of those seats.
The ideal would be JV and Fisi in Williams next year! _________________ Who the fcuk messes up with my signature? |

It's gonna be an interesting week in Montreal for DR if he shows up there at all...
I doubt Montreal fans will roll out the red carpet to welcome him. |
