Appoligies for not having a new question ready to go. My uncle passed away Nov 1 and I have been quite preoccupied.

D-Type if you have a question ready please do me the honour of putting it forward for me. If not I will endeavour to come up with a question in the next day or so.

Anfield5 sorry to hear of your loss.

OK, here's a question:

Which circuit has the greatest number of years gap between hosting a Grand Prix? (Including prewar to complicate it further.)

Please say how many years in case you can beat the one I have in mind.

No takers?
I was thinking of Donington with the 1938 Donington GP to 1993 European GP - 55 years, But the prewar race wasn't a national Grand Prix
If you take it as national GP then we have the German GP at Avus in 1926 and again in 1959 - 33 years. But the 1926 race was for sports cars and there were the Avusrennen for GP cars but not titled as a Grand Prix...
Then there's the French GP at Le Mans in 1921 and in 1967 - 46 years but totally different circuits...

So I'd better re-phrase and ask which circuit has had he greatest gap between holding a World Championship Grand Prix

Ok I'll try and rephrase it more clearly.

On entering F1 what driver fell foul of officialdom in the shortest amount of time. i.e. who was in F1 the shortest amount of time before copping a fine from the stewards

Correct. In his first GP in the first practice session Vettel was caught speeding in pit lane after only 8 seconds of being an offical F1 race driver

Hopefully my source is correct, apologies for any inaccuracies.

Other than Sunday, when was the last time 2 Australian drivers competed in the FIA world championship Australian F1 GP?

Hope I've covered all the right bases.
Pray
