About me? Well my passion was a little spark in the days of our NZ trio
at the top, McLaren, Hulme & Amon (oops showing my age - not on the pension yet) it turned to a roaring blaze with Ayrton and almost died with
his death only to be rekindled by Mika. I'm sure I woke the neighbours
screaming in the small hours (GPs NZ time) now a fervent McLaren Fan.

Hi Georgio and everyone else. I'm from Thurgoland which is a village between Sheffield & Barnsley.
I've been a Ferrari fan since I was a kid and started watching F1 in the mid 80's. This year will be my 7th Monza GP. This season is certainly unpredictable, which can only be a good thing.

Ciao
Anthony

I'm Jamie from eastern Pennsylvania in the USA. I'm 32 and have been interested in racing my whole life, but only became an avid F1 fan in 2001.

As you can guess from my name and avatar, I'm a huge Sauber-Petronas fan. I run the unofficial website at www.sauberspeak.co.uk, and I have pitpass.com to thank for added support. I also write for Petronas Motorsports and Pitstop.com.my.

I like the independent teams the most so I am also a Jordan and Minardi fan. And just so I have some more competitive drivers to root for, I also like Barrichello and Raikkonen. Ferrari would be my pick for favorite top team. (Yeah, the current Sauber collaboration has something to do with that Laughing )

My full-time as a designer and drafter of prefab commercial buildings. It's not a very exciting career, and my hope is start a new career in writing. My other hobbies are important to me too. Besides watching racing, I enjoy building scale model cars. Some are race cars and others are street cars. Another passion is video games. Mostly I like racing sim games like Gran Turismo 3 and Colin McRae Rally 3, but I also enjoy strategy games like Advance Wars and RPG's like the Final Fantasy series. I have 3 cats, one of which loves to watch racing on tv and comes running to check it out everytime she hears the name Schumacher.

Hi. Really nice site. Have you guys been here long? I live in the Home of Formula 1 - England - and I'm married and I work as Catering Manager at a children's hospice.

My favourite team is McLaren. OK don't all laugh at once Sad And I am also a member of 'Team McLaren'

My other favourite team that I root for when those Mercedez-Benz engines blow yet again, are Jordan, which with their reliability is I know a bit pointless. Confused

My favourite non-McLaren driver is Juan Pablo Montoya (and not just because he's joining McLaren next year, yippee!) and I also like Alonso, Button, Fisichella, and from the past Mansell, Hakkinen, Senna and Prost.

See ya later.

Hey all,

My name is Shaun and i'm 18 yrs old. I'm from Melbourne Australia. I've been following F1 since i was about 7 but only got really interested in 96 when Jacques Villeneuve entered the sport. As you may tell by the nick I'm a huge JV fan and am eagerly and patiently waiting for him to return sometime next year. My all time favourite driver is the great Ayrton Senna, although I've read alot about and seen vision of Giles Villeneuve and Jim Clark and am fans of them to, but right now, there isn't anyone out there worth supporting for me, but Montagny will be the driver I follow if JV doesn't return because of his pace, ability and he's a big JV fan too, which helps.

On a side note, this site really kicks arse, well done to everyone.

later all,

shaun

Hi

I'm Michelle, just turned 30, and I live in Manchester. I have been watching F1 since I was at school and been an avid fan since about 1994 (I've missed two races since then on the TV).

I have been to the Australian and Spanish GPs and attended a few Fridays at Silverstone. Unfortunately I don't like big crowds so it's not a more regular thing for me to visit the actual GP (plus money issues too!)

I'm just a huge fan of the sport really and don't have a real favourite team/driver - although I used to support Damon Hill in particular and have been supporting Justin Wilson's career more recently.

Thanks for running this forum - it'll be lovely to hear the views of other F1 fans - especially since my friends and family aren't fans like me!

Its not to hard to guess my name,
I now live in New Zealand but I come from the UK orginally I have always loved formula one and I have watched every race for as long I can remember I think the best years were when Nigel Mansell was in the sport, but I still enjoy the sport just as much today.
I think we have some good times ahead with strong teams and drivers.
I am currently working on creating an empire big enough to sponsor Jordan F1 to the glory it deserves but that will be a few years away yet, I haven't even made my first Mil yet Confused
I don't really support any team in perticular but I have a passion for Ferrari cars so I guess I would pick Ferrari as for Drivers it would have to be Jenson although it always seems that the british drivers are unlucky.

The answer to the name question (for any Australians reading Laughing Just kidding) is Nigel

Very Happy Thanks for the great site to all the Pitpass Crew

I've already posted lots but I may as well put myself on here!

My name is Robert and I live in Edinburgh (but I am English) but I travel a lot in the course of my work.
As you can tell from my avatar I'm a huge McLAren and Kimi fan, but my favourite drivers of all time are Nigel Mansell and Mika Hakkinen.

I also have a soft spot for Jim Clark because he was born only 50 miles from where I live and I went to the same school as him. Very Happy

Hey, I'm Sean. Many of you are familiar with me. I'm a 32-year-old from sunny (and snowy, and cloudy, and rainy, and...) Baltimore, Maryland. Yes, a Yank'.

I'm into models (F1, hot rods, WWI and WWII aircraft, some armor, WRC cars... you name it), motorcycles, books, writing, cooking (but not cleaning - messy!), driving, and intelligent people.

I hate those who will hog the passing lane. They are unacceptable piles of trash. Smile And... since childhood, I have hated the informant mentality. Two pet peeves...

I have loved cars and motorsports for as long as I can remember. My first word was "car." (Honestly. Just ask my folks.) Also, for as long as I can remember, I have always abhored the misguided attempts to slow my belovéd racecars. Confused Some things, we are just born with...

I'm a nice guy. Just don't give me the finger when I politely flash my high-beams at you. Wink Move over, accept my wave...

Carlos, from Madrid Spain

Formula 1 is fantastic (Alonso for ever!!!)
but my favourite is WRC (Carlos Sainz forever!!!, the one and only "Matador" behind a steering-wheel)

Apart from these favourite (national) drivers I like Barrichello's proffesionality a lot as well

About teams... I'd like to see a return from the good ol' timers (Lotus and the like)

Cheers
