Greetings,
Great to be part of the new PitPass Forum, and a huge thank you to Chris for making this all happen!!
My on line nick is JJ Ligier (a nick name derived from an older F1 team and part of my initials) -- I also answer to John. I've follwed F1 for many (many) years, have attended many races, met some of my heros (Nelson, Kiki, Alain, Ayrton ...just to name a few) and have a passion for F1 that borders on addictive / compulsive. I also race a 125cc shifter kart that's as much fun as you will ever have with clothes on!
I look forward to many great discussions, a few rather energized debates, and a magnificent season of racing! |

Greetings all! or a native "HOWDY" from the Western Hemisphere! I hope this forum becomes real interesting and lively. I'm a lifelong Tifosi who can take a joke or heat about Ferrari and gets up at the crack of dawn(or midnight for the Oz race) for the whole season. _________________ Racing is life, everything in between is just waiting. |

Phil, 27, from Cambridge, England.
Used to work in IT, but spent the last year raising the budget to go racing full time.
A fan of F1 generally rather than any individual driver, but I do run an unnofficial BAR website, with some support from the greatest F1 website in the world (that's pitpass, in case you're wondering). _________________ : ---- : Phil Huff : CimaRacing.co.uk : ---- : |

Hi ya - just look to your left and there's my name (how original!). From, again on the left, Toronto, Ontario Canada. Been a fan/follower of F1 since...I dunno, ages, my dad introduced me to the sport and we've continue to harass each other regarding drivers and teams.
For now I'm working in advertising.
As for my favourites (currently) it's all over the place, I don't have 'one' favourite driver, I do have 'one' favourite team (BMW Williams) although that has been known to change. Drivers I support/follow/fan of are in particular order:
Kimi Raikkonen
Fernando Alonso
Mark Webber
Cristiano De Matta
Michael Schumacher
Ralf Schumacher (I do tend to defend him, as he seems to get dumped on an awfully lot and I think for the most part it is undeserved)
This year I would love for Kimi to win the drivers and for Williams to win the constructors...that would be ideal. No offence to Michael or Rubens but I really don't want to see Ferrari as the champions again. Time for a change.
And as the rest said - thanks to Chris for the forum and for a fantastic website.
