Maldonado easily. I didn't think he had it in him but he proved a lot of people wrong this weekend.

Pastor for me but some very very honourable mentions in Alonso and Kimi not to mention Lewis managing to do the whole race with only 2 tyre changes _________________ it'll all end in tears..........cool! |

Pastor, then Kobayashi for the moves. _________________ "One minute you're defending the whole galaxy, and, suddenly, you find yourself sucking down Darjeeling with... Marie Antoinette and her little sister." |

Who voted for Senna?
I'm so chuffed for Maldonado. Not only for winning, but actually fighting with Alonso of all people and coming out on top. His tyre management was perfect and he didn't put a foot wrong in the final stages of the race were the pressure was monumental. Great drive. |

Easy, Maldonado. After he lost the lead to Alonso at the start he didn't panic and kept pressuring Alonso at the front. Fantastic work from the Williams team, good to see them back on the top step of the podium again.
I'm assuming the Senna vote was a mistake??? |

Hamilton started 24th and finished ahead of his teammate.
But gonna give it to Maldonado because the pressure to make an error must have been crazy. Had Alonso won, I'd have said Ham. _________________ "With its F1 coverage from 2012 set to play second fiddle, the BBC promises to get fans close to the true experience - of being Mark Webber" #HIGNFY @don_lyall |

Maldo was my obvious choice. Faultless weekend and thouroughly deserved first win, can't fault him.
Mentions also for Hamilton's drive from last to the verge of the top 5 was possibly his best ever drive (open to argument of course), and Alonso who did all he could in an improving big red dog. _________________ Movable body panels - welcome to the Wacky Races |

Maldonado, no doubt. he was consistent, cooled head and certain.
also hamilton, kobayashi, alonso, raikkonen did a great job. |

When Maldonado crashed into Hamilton in Spa I called him a rockape, and when he stuffed it in the wall in Oz I thought he was a pillock, but today he was faultless under massive pressure from all angles. Getting rid of the sub-Parr one does not seem to have harmed the team any.
Senna fully deserves a vote for the cheer that went up from the kitchen when the auld phart ploughed into him. SWMBO hasn't been that animated since we got a new milkman. Oddly we still seem to be buying as much milk in Asda. |

Not sure on the Schumacher/Senna crash. Sure MS should have ensured he could avoid contact with Senna, and he simply didn't, he seemed to misjudge the speed difference between the two cars (rookie mistake?). But Senna was wobbling all over the track, he was on the right and at the last minute shot left, then back across to the centre right again, if he had kept his first or even his second line there would have been no contact between the two. _________________ Movable body panels - welcome to the Wacky Races |

Maldonado
I thought he might lose his cool and make a mistake but he kept it all together.
Kudos to the other two on the podium and to Hamilton. |

| Easily Maldanado. Never set a foot wrong and withstood the Alonso pressure for the entire race. Great show! |
