Well...Schumi out of qualifying already..................................

(Thought it best to start a new thread for the actual GP rather than post in the discussion about whether it should exist)

Listening on 5-live. Algersuari thoroughly knows his stuff!

FOM apparently deliberately not showing any Force India coverage, both in Q1 and Q2 they've been out first running around setting times and FOM have steadfastly not bothered to show them.

He does indeed. Smile

...and I'm going to shoot myself for saying this but James Allen isn't quite so awful on 5live as he was on ITV. Shocked Embarassed

Going to be interesting Q3 this. Get the feeling half the people haven't been pushing so far, and the other half are lacking pace.

I was thinking this morning about how abstract a concept the 'Bahrain; to race or not?' issue was to consider. I have no information other than what people tell me. FOM claim the media are making a story, the media claim FOM are being heartless. It basically boiled down to; who do I trust more, the media or FOM. Then I laughed for a minute.

God damn the team that values its staff's safety and wellbeing over keeping some faceless suits happy.

Brundle just noted that we didn't see Force India at any point.

That'll learn 'em for caring.

I always think back to 2009 when Renault were part of the FOTA breakaway, and for a botched pitstop got a two race ban, or in 2007 during Spygate when McLaren lost their Hungary constructors points because Alonso and Hamilton had a kerfuffle. I'd laugh in the face of anyone who tells me justice is blind.

It was laughable, TV cameras decided it was better to watch Narain walking down the pitlane, or trawl through every other garage, or even to watch Massa's outlap as the only other car on track when the Force Indias were on actual hotlaps.

Forgetting the whys and wherefores or racing in Bahrain its stuff like that that makes you think "why am I bothering with this".

That is pretty damn pathetic, I have to say. It seems the Twitter lot have pricked their ears to it as well.

What a load of bogs dollocks.

What I find so crazy is that it's meant to be for us ultimately. All of these people wouldn't made made a penny if it weren't for our interest. The cart's leading the horse. Watching the Sky coverage I felt a bit silly how seriously some people take it.

Raikkonen (of course) once said 'people make such a big deal out of this. We have a race, and you do well or you don't. What else is there to say?' [paraphrased].
