F1 2012 is go, go, go.
Fantasy F1 2012 will open for entries on Sunday 11th March.
The game format will remain exactly the same as in previous years, although it is proposed to bring a budget in with each driver and team being awarded a value.
A majority vote will decide whether or not to go down this route, or to stick with the existing format.
Thoughts please.

Please don't make it overly complicated, which I think budgets would.
How about 3 drivers, one of whom must not drive for one of the four top teams, currently Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari and Mecedes. After, say, three races you could make it the four leading teams in the championship - but it will probably be the same four _________________ The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know. |

I like D-Type's suggestion. It at least increases the available options, but why three drivers? Keep it as two, but only 1 from the top 4 teams.
(Would these mean everyone chooses Vettel & a back marker, though?) _________________ Yes, I Know that I'm a BOF. Someone please tell me why I still watch. |

I agree that it ain't broke but if it is developed a bit, it can't hurt. Any changes will be welcome giving a new twist amnd an opportunity for different stratagies.

Thanks for the input.
On balance, it seems best to stick with the current format. I like the idea of limiting picks but am not too sure how practically it would work. Is it fair for example, to lump teams into brackets and predetermine who are the top ones.
The 2012 season will therefore follow the same rules as in previous years and is now open for entries. |
