Fraer Nash Le Mans replica, chassis number 421/100/127, raced by Roy Salvadori was registered VHX 839. He and it finished 4th in the 1952 British Empire Trophy, I.O.M.
The entrant was T.Crook, but sadly as far as I know, despite sharing a surname, he is no relation to me.

Who can forget the glorious Zakspeed 841? Most of us, it seems.

Driven by Jonathan Palmer & Christian Danner during the 1985 season, it could not be deemed a success.

I hope you will forgive me going again, but this thread seems to have stalled.

Again avoiding the March F2 cars, I will choose The Ferrari Dino 206SP. Sadly, on Saturday 22 July 1967, Gunther Klass was killed during practice at the Circuito del Mugello in the Ferrari T-car, a hill climb Ferrari Dino 206SP (Chassis 842)

Swiss tuner Sportec claim that their modded Porsche, called the SPR1R gets 846bhp from its 3.6L bi-turbo engine. That allows it to run from 0-62 mph in 3 seconds, 0-124 mph in 8.6 seconds and 0-186 mph in 18.9 seconds. Top speed comes in at an eye-watering 236 mph.

As far as I know it is not really a racing car, but if their figures are correct, and they will loan me one, I don't mind having a go.
