I am becoming somewhat despondent with Pitpass and the editorial content. Since the website makeover, the site seems to have moved to a more political stance. The constant news about Bahrain, and how F1 shouldn’t go there (although everywhere else is fine!) Come on get a grip. There are plenty on countries that F1 visits that are as bad if not worse.
Max deserved what he got, if you put yourself up for public scrutiny, like being the head of the largest motoring organisation in the world, then the people that look up to you should know what type of person that you are. They can then make their own decision if they want to trust you. If its not an issue then there isn’t a problem in people knowing (obviously he thought his wife & children probably wouldn’t like it).
I hope I’m wrong but I get the feeling that the site has sold out & the highest bidder was Bernie (& his mate Max). |

For your information, all that happened was the site got a "makeover", nothing, absolutely nothing else has changed, certainly not our editorial approach.
As for your claim that the site has "sold out", I shall treat that with the complete and utter contempt it deserves. |

I don't think it is the human rights issues, more the danger to team personnel, officials and spectators which caused the furore over Bahrain.

He was lied about in a scandal rag.

If you disagree with an opinion, fine, but that is just throwing a tantrum. _________________ Yes, I Know that I'm a BOF. Someone please tell me why I still watch. |

I am not entirely sure what website you were reading before, but the reason I chose to read Pitpass is precisely because it never shies away from topics that other sites dare not touch. I can't see how Dr. Lawrence's most recent article is any different from anything he wrote in the past. Also, when Mosley was attacked from all sides for what is entirely his personal life, Pitpass always emphasised that, while Max could and should be criticised for a lot of things, it was not correct to link his personal life to his function as the FIA president. The most recent article simply continues this line of thought. _________________ F1 - it's magnanimous! |
