Seriously, I am not making this up. I found this on a pretty reliable NASCAR related siteThey cite sources and even have a quote from the Ice Man himself.
It is some of the strangest racing news I've seen in some time. One of the partners running the team is Foster Gillett, whose father tried it for a while and left owing huge amounts of money.

If you consider how fan and sponsor friendliness is a staple of the series it does sound odd that Kimi wants to go there..or maybe their PR events aren't as corporate as F1's?

The edit you see there was not mine. Site staff stripped the links that I did not know were prohibited (so why are there link tags?), and made the edit look like it was mine. Then they produced an "article" on the front page, which is just cut and paste from the links.
This is my last visit to these "forums". Good bye. |

I've heard rumours of this for the last year or so. Is Kimi ready for NASCAR? Or, more likely, is NASCAR ready for Kimi! The Iceman cometh it seems. One thing's for sure ... it'll be damn entertaining to watch!  |

Perhaps he just misses JPM.
Seriously, I guess it floats his boat and will no doubt give him the adrenaline rush that all drivers supposedly need but no I can't see the appeal myself either. |
