the is not good, i agree.

I am dutch and i am not happy with people who thinks they are Verstappen Fans.
Embarassed

I myself am a great Verstappen fan, and the problem of Jos is that he is a Dutchman, if he was a German, he was racing alongside Montoya.
But that does not allows me to write that sort of mails.
Shame on them.

I am very sad when i heard that the deal with Jordan wasn't a deal after all.
And all the thing they wrote about Jos that he or Rothengatter are to blame is Bull.
We all know (and everybody in the Netherlands) that Mr. Trust himself was the big hubble.

I hope that Jos gets another shot but let the "so called" fans stop sending bloody stupid mails to Eddy.
This does not help in any way.

Sorry Eddy, but they do not know better.

Sadly, it is the small minority that cause trouble for the majority. These idiots are not fans of Jos or even F1, they are like football hooligans.

In all honesty I'm glad that Eddie's had the balls to bring this out into the open. I can tell you that he and his team received hate mail when it didn't employ Jos after sacking Frentzen, while Minardi also received abuse from these 'fans' last year. Some of it not simply sick but downright obscene

I agree completely. I can accept people writing to Eddie to express their disappointment, but to wish harm to him and his family is outrageous and disgusting in the extreme.
This, along with many other things, is exactly what F1 doesn't need.
Not only now do we have a rubbish qually system, but hooliganism to match. And there was me thinking that the one thing F1 had going for it was its fan base.
Sadly, how wrong I was.

It is indeed very disgusting the way these so-called fans react. These people should be tracked down and punished severely.

I can understand Eddie's decision not to contract Jos. For one, he's not such a good driver as the Dutch people would like him to be. Secondly, he or his management want lots of cash. He or his management thinks that the cash being earned is more important that racing itself.

Good job Eddie, cos he wouldn't be worth the money. Hope you do well this season.

To be honest.

I was very disappointed when Jos did not get the seat With Jordan.
And I do not agree with the fact that Jos is not a really good driver.

For some reason he had just bad luck.
When he entered the F1 the rules within the F1 where different.
At that time he was the so called Hottest Boy in F1, if he was born 8 years later he probably was contracted by at least Jaguar.
Back than, the Senna's, Hill's and young Schumacher ruled.
Back than Jos got 2 third Places, and Flavio was full off his talent.

But Jos has also another talent, always choose the wrong Team.
Shame for him was the break down of the Honda team after the Dead off Harvey Postlewaithe, I myself had a chance to visit that team at that time and I can assure you that they where must better than Toyota now, but the Knowledge died.

It is a sad that JV and JV are not anymore driving F1, but of them brought extra suspense into the sport, now they are all very nice drivers.

I am Dutch and I hope the Dutch (small minority) will think and will see that there actions to Jordan will harm F1 and all future for drivers from The Netherlands.

Good point speedy, by doing this JV may never get another crack at an F1 drive for fear of hate mail if he is turned down. Sad, but this is the world we live in Sad
