Since it involves a relatively well known figure from F1's history, I thought it might interest a few here. There is a huge corruption scandal brewing in our country, Slovenia. Our prime minister was directly accused of taking bribes by the Finnish national TV in a huge arms deal with the Finnish company Patria. One of the main links for laundering the bribe money is allegedly Walter Wolf, a Canadian entrepreneur of Slovene origins and a former F1 team owner. The scandal fell directly into the pre-election period here, so you can imagine how heated things have become.

Anyway, one of our newspapers also used a very interesting picture to show both alleged protagonists, namely Walter Wolf (1st from left) and Wolfgang Riedl (2nd from left), who was supposed to be Patria company's main money laundering channel for bribes. Not sure about who the other two are Wink. Nobody is claiming that the other two have anything to do with this scandal, mind.

And we'll have news of another F1 'blast from the past' in the very near future - no scandal though.

We refer to the son of a former team owner who is teaming up with a Pitpass team member.

There is no English version of that article, no. So far this news didn't make it to many English websites yet. There is the translated transcript from the Finnish TV piece where the allegations were originally made, and some news from a local newspaper that writes in English.
