Bob, for many the 'voice of motorsport', has spent over 30 years in motor sport journalism. After working as a freelance, he joined Autosport in 1972 and spent five years with the motor racing magazine before returning to freelance in 1977.
Since then, he has covered every significant form of motor sport, whether Formula One, IndyCars, rallying, sports cars or touring cars and club racing. During that time, he has worked for motor racing publications throughout the world and for the last fifteen years has specialised in Formula One indeed he has conducted the official press conferences for the last ten. He is the on-circuit commentator at all Grands Prix. He has also worked as a TV presenter and commentator for the BBC and with TV companies in South Africa, Hong Kong, Australia and France. |
