Hidden Casino Gems in the F1 Calendar

NEWS STORY
25/02/2020

Due in no small part to the glitz and glamour of Monaco and Monte Carlo, F1 has built a reputation as the sport for the more discerning sports fan.

While this is not entirely true as F1 fans come from every inch of the populus, there are some genuinely magnificent spots dotted around the F1 map and some hidden gems in there as well.

If you want to join in the glamourous lifestyle during a race weekend, a trip to a casino would fit quite nicely.

If you are looking to indulge yourself in the casino scene but want a unique experience, we have you covered.

Before we get started, it is worth checking out somehow to play casino games pages. I have found a website called CasinoRange, which has guides on games like blackjack, poker and slots. This kind of site will help you understand better what you are getting yourself into.

Here is our list of the best-hidden gem casinos across the F1 map.

Tropicana, Las Vegas Casino- Budapest, Hungary

In the city where Michael Schumacher equalled Alain Prost's Grand Prix wins record, you can find a couple of gems in the Pearl of the Danube.

The first of the major casinos in Budapest is aptly named Las Vegas Casino. Established almost 30 years ago, this 24-hour casino welcomes all types of F1 fan, from the elegant to the more casual. There is a vibrant and lively atmosphere within its doors, and it will be hard to tear yourself away from the nearly 100 games on offer here.

The other big player in Budapest is the Tropicana. Not to be confused with the juice drink, this tropical-themed casino, will keep you thoroughly entertained between race sessions with over 100 games on offer and features a non Gamstop casinos no deposit bonus. Like the Las Vegas Casino, the Tropicana is open 24 hours. The casino's bar will also serve the thirsty patrons with cocktails named after the Toucan bird.

Holland Casino-Zandvoort, Netherlands

The first European race of the F1 season takes us to the Dutch coast. This will be the first time Zandvoort has hosted an F1 competition in over 30 years. While most racegoers will look to head into the bright lights of Amsterdam and all the entertainment the Venice of the North has to offer. Though if you stay in the coastal town, you will find one of Holland's best-kept secrets. Zandvoort is home to the oldest casino in the country.

Established in 1977 the Holland Casino, gives you stunning views out over the sea, this branch of the Holland Casino brand is small and intimate and harks back to a golden age of casinos, with a few mod-cons as well. There is also a fantastic restaurant within the casino walls and has excellent reviews across the board from different food review websites.

Stardust E-Gaming, Bonus club- Hanoi, Vietnam

The first-ever race in Vietnam is due to be held in this year's F1 season, and it is taking place in the capital of the country, Hanoi.

Being at the heart and soul of Vietnam, Hanoi has a lot to offer the F1 fan who wants to visit a casino.

The city boasts several excellent establishments, once you head into town after the race. The casinos are mostly located in the high-end hotels in the city.

One of the most notable casinos in the city is Stardust E-Gaming club. It is not just about the games in the casino, but you also receive good luck gifts. There is also some complimentary food available in the casino, which is always a bonus. Another pleasant surprise of this casino is that the slots that are on the casino floor are the same ones that can be found in Las Vegas.

Another must-visit casino in Hanoi is the Bonus club. Like the previous casino, food and drinks are on the house, which is great. The casino's main attractions are the slot machines and roulette tables which seat six people comfortably. During holiday seasons it can get particularly busy in the Bonus club. The race weekend falls just after Hùng Kings' Festival, so there may still be people in the festive spirit.

These two are our favourites of those listed here and worth a visit if you go to the inaugural Vietnam Grand Prix.
