Win a United States GP poster

NEWS STORY
22/10/2016

This weekend Formula One returns to the United States and if there’s a country which knows marketing this is it. The race, of course, has an official poster and it’s a modern take on the Art Deco images which F1 is famous for. Pitpass has one to give away to a lucky reader along with four others which have been produced to promote a select group of races this year.

The posters come courtesy of our friends at ZOOM, the F1 charity initiative in which signed photos taken by all of wthe drivers and team bosses are sold at an annual gala.

As Pitpass has reported the photos have included a selfie from Daniel Ricciardo whilst quad-biking in the desert (complete with camel in the background) and Lewis Hamilton’s snap of his beloved bulldog Roscoe sitting like an emperor in front of the Colosseum.

ZOOM has raised almost £100,000 for charity and this year launched a new initiative to drive even more money to good causes.

ZOOM commissioned design agency Crooked Cartoon to create a series of posters inspired by the Art Deco ones from the heyday of Grand Prix racing. The ZOOM series features modern-day cars against an Art Deco background and can be bought here.

As with all of the other ZOOM ventures, charities get a share of the proceeds from the sale of the posters and they are all local to the races. The beneficiary of the one for the US Grand Prix is the Center for Child Protection in Austin where the race will be held. The poster is the most-successful of the series so far and in just the past week has generated more than £1,000 which will be paid to the charity.

The poster sells for £20 each but one lucky Pitpass reader will have a chance to take it home for free along with the four others in the set which promoted the races in Spain, Monaco, Canada and Britain. Two runners-up will each win a copy of the US Grand Prix poster.

To enter, all you have to do is email us with the answer to the question: What is the name of the track which currently hosts F1’s US Grand Prix?

Entries close at midnight on Monday 24 October and winners will be notified by email the following week.
