United States GP Competition: We have a winner

20/11/2012

Of the many entries for our recent United States Grand Prix prediction competition, only 67 correctly predicted that Lewis Hamilton would lead home Sebastian Vettel.

With the tiebreaker coming into play, only 7 of those 67 correctly predicted that there would be 22 finishers.

Those 7 remaining names were put into a hat and as a result David Hutson from Kansas City wins the absolutely stunning 1:8 scale model of Mario Andretti's 1978 title winning Lotus 79, kindly provided by Amalgam.

The three runners-up, who will each receive a 1:12 scale Lotus E20 nose cone, are Bill Hopgood from Dunedin in New Zealand, Andrew Kimpton in Bury St Edmunds in the UK, and Mark Cheshire.

Congratulations to our winners and commiserations to those who came so close.

We will be running another competition in time for this weekend's season finale in Brazil.
