With today being a 'rest day' in Monaco, and consequently no F1 action, what better time to check out our picture gallery from Thursday's action.

Other than the usual on track activity, check out some of the various new helmet liveries the drivers are sporting not least Jean-Eric Vergne's tribute to fellow Frenchman Jean Alesi and Kimi Raikkonen's tribute to James Hunt - then again, don't forget that in 2007 The Iceman, who has openly admitted that he envies the lifestyles of 70s drivers such as Hunt, entered and won a snowmobile race in Finland under the name of, yes, you guessed it...
