Di Resta Force India 7 No Time

Despite an overcast start, the weather gods have looked down favourably on Mugello today, heavy clouds finally giving way to some bright sunshine that allowed some serious lappery.

Lotus, which had to amend its programme after yesterday's washout, causing the Enstone outfit to cancel Kimi Raikkonen's time in the car on Thursday, showing no ill effects of the decision as Romain Grosjean was the morning pace-setter.

While most teams are clearly delighted with today's running, Ferrari having completed its full morning programme with no problems, Force India was left frustrated as Paul di Resta managed just seven laps due to a hydraulics issue.

Michael Schumacher - subject of Gurmit's latest cartoon - though sixth on the timesheets, has completed 74 laps, while Vitaly Petrov has completed 62.
