Ralf Schumacher, who took part in this week's test at Jerez with force India, appears to have given up on a drive in 2008, hinting that his F1 career may be at an end after eleven seasons.

Having ruled out the Milton Keynes outfit as a possible employer, claiming that the team is unlikely to achieve anything, the German told Sport Bild; "It's possible that today was my last drive in a Formula One car."

Earlier this week, ahead of his outing with the former Jordan/Midland/Spyker outfit, Pitpass revealed that Schumacher was unhappy with the fact that he was getting just on day in the car while (fellow hopeful) Giancarlo Fisichella was getting two.

To add to his obvious frustration, Schumacher had a "difficult" day with the Indian team yesterday, suffering two spins and a hydraulics failure.
