Rubython is back in the headlines, well almost

NEWS STORY
24/05/2007

It must surely not be a case of Je ne regrette rien for BusinessF1 editor Tom Rubython, who, having been adjudged by the Tribunal de Grande Instance in Paris of defaming Max Mosley in a 2005 article in his magazine, has been forced to take out apology notices in the French press, on the very weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix.

The apology relates to an article - A Shocking Story In Election Year - which appeared in the February 2005 edition of BusinessF1 magazine.

As part of the judgement, Rubython has had to pay for the apology notices in Auto Hebdo, the leading French motorsport magazine, and French daily L'Equipe.

Auto Hebdo features a full page apology, while the L'Equipe version runs to a quarter page.

The notices appear on page 17 (L'Equipe) and 15 (Auto Hebdo)
