Ecclestone tips Massa and Ferrari for 2007 glory

Bernie Ecclestone believes that Ferrari and Felipe Massa will come out on top in the 2007 Formula One world Championship.

Speaking to Bild, the 76-year-old didn't hesitate when asked who would win the titles; "Massa and Ferrari," he hit back. "They (Ferrari) look very strong and they will do the running."

Ecclestone believes that a major factor in Ferrari and Massa's success this season will be the continued presence of Michael Schumacher, tipped by some as preparing to take over a management role with the Italian team.

"Schumacher was already like the team manager during the last few years," said the Englishman. "He will help Massa incredibly this year."

Referring to Michael's brother, Ecclestone said: "Ralf is fast. "The question is whether he is in the right team. Perhaps he would have been better in the Renault," a comment that is sure to inspire a response from Flavio Briatore in the weeks to come.
