Kimi Raikkonen is keeping schtum regarding his plans for 2007. Talking in Montreal, ahead of the Grand Prix weekend, the Finn remained tight-lipped as to his plans for next season, a subject that has had the F1 media and race fans speculating for some time.

Asked if he knows what he will be doing in 2007, the Finn replied: "I think so, not 100 per cent, but for sure I will be in Formula One next year, so it's not something I have to worry about.

"I'm happy with how things are going," he added. " and for sure I will know at some point this year what's there for me."

Pitpass has claimed that the Finn's destination in 2007 rests on whether Michael Schumacher opts to remain in F1 or retire, however the McLaren driver refutes this.

"It doesn't make any difference," said Raikkonen. "My decision is my own. Even Alonso has a contract with Mercedes and McLaren already - it doesn't make my decision any different, or Michael obviously. In the end I will make a decision that is right for me.

"I'm happy with what's happening now," he added, "and I don't really need to worry about next year or any other years, so we will see what happens."
